On your bio you mention travelling a lot, where do you go? I’d say my best photography came from cross country walking/hiking to remote locations in the West of Ireland. I only shoot in Manual, I find it awful hard to shoot any other way as I know what I want at any given time from the camera. As I say if you are not out photographing you are not learning. The landscape is my favourite, but I also love derelict too as it works well with my style of photography. I got them very wrong at the beginning and loved the learning curve. I’m mostly into High Dynamic Range and long exposure shots, They are far more difficult and always a challenge for me. What are your favourite shots from your own photography and why? #guesswhosback #wildatlanticway #connemara Did ye miss me? /v5isrAgZGa Sorry Tweetpeeps, I had disappeared for a little while. I have Galaxy s8 mobile photo and it’s a little beauty, but unfortunately, it’s only for good use on social media platforms, not good for a large print. I have seen some amazing shots from the Fuji XT range which is impressive but I’m a Nikon fan so I’ll wait for their technology. Maybe a couple of years time it probably will be the star of the show. I’m not going to be easily converted from DSLR because I feel the technology for mirrorless is still in its infancy. – 1000 Base-T Gigabit Wired LAN Support DSL/ mirrorless vs the camera on your phone – what are your thoughts? – 14-Bit Raw Files and 12-Bit Raw S Format – 180k-Pixel RGB Sensor and Group Area AF – 12 fps Shooting for 200 Shots with AE/AF
My next purchase will be sigma 150-600 with 1×4 extender hopefully it will fit into our household budget. Nikon D5 What an amazing spec, but the d810 would do. If money was no object what else would you use?
SERGE RAMELLI LIGHTROOM BOOK REVIEW FULL
It very easily makes a photo from a photo in full frame. Also, there is most probably a photo in the photo that you may not have seen. I also like the full frame for other reasons too, you can shoot in raw a little underexposed and still work on it easily in Photoshop and Lightroom and come out with amazing results. Especially when you only have one bag on a Ryan Air flight :). I usually shoot handheld in continuous high, saves messing about with tripod when you don’t have time or space to carry it. The d750 is better in low lighting and has the capability of taking 9 bracketed shots. I also shoot bracketed images and process similar to Serge Ramelli.
SERGE RAMELLI LIGHTROOM BOOK REVIEW PC
The better the initial shot the less time as I’m at my PC editing. I love the full frame I use that mostly and the quality of the results help with post process. I have a fully kitted Nikon d7000, And a full frame Nikon d750 with 3 lenses, filters etc. And his photos always stop me in my tracks, I hope to return the favour to him sometime :). He uses very simple bracketed (more than one image of the same photo under different exposure) images and creates more of an artistic approach to his Photography.
SERGE RAMELLI LIGHTROOM BOOK REVIEW SOFTWARE
He masters his style with great software like Aurora, Photo Matix and many other similar platforms. I love Serge Ramelli I think he has one of the keenest eyes in photography and his processing is amazing. Which photographers inspired you / do you like? I was a Minolta fan before that and not very good with cameras. I have been into photography since I was very young and started off with a bridge DSLR Fuji when the technology came along and away from the film. After all new software takes time to learn as does new equipment so mistakes can be made and have no problem with cc from other photographers. I will always observe the rules of photography in all regards, but alas I will never be perfect. I like to keep up today’s photography and process techniques. As time moves on so does equipment and software.
I’m a self-taught photographer and have used the internet and Youtube in the dark with my camera trying to learn something different, the missus always thought I was up to no good. I’m a store manager for Aldi and have a huge passion for photography and tech equipment.
